Hi Alvis, To begin with, I would like to thank you for all your fantastic work. I had been working in the administration and operations sector for over seven years. I am a business administration graduate, where I found myself interested in exploring the supply chain. I do not have any relevant work experience, but I am passionate about making this field as my career choice. However, I am pretty unsure about where and how to begin my change. Should I pursue any supply chain-related certifications? If so, could you recommend any relevant courses that I can take? I highly appreciate any insights that you may provide. Thank you.
Hello Kish, Greetings!
If you need to switch career to supply chain, online certifications do least help. Best you could do is, do a full fledged course full time and that is the easiest way to switch to supply chain.
Another option is since you have already operations experience, you can leverage that and get into a supply chain role; based on that role, you can then invest your time on related certifications. I would recommend this as the next step for you.
