I would like to learn about blockchain technology in supply chain. I would like to know the way for it and its usages in the industry.
Hello Sukesh, I am not an expert in blockchain, but I would like to add my point as per my study. As mentioned by Alvis sir, there are many use cases of Blockchain in the supply chain, I have met many experts who have used it in top MNC companies.
Mainly decentralized permissioned distributed ledgers systems can be used in supply chains as all the stakeholders will be on the same platform.
Also, structural ecosystem with all nodes (all data sources such as laptops, desktops, etc.) needs to be in place. Each successful addition to the chain is broadcast to the entire network and all nodes have an up-to-date copy of the entire blockchain.
The use of Smart contracts is a major part of supply chain blockchains, these are programs that can be written at the underlying dispensed ledger and are accomplished automatically through nodes on the network.
I am still studying this, but there are some important points for your reference to kick start with.
Thanks and regards,
Hello Sukesh, the end uses are many but may take time to get real. It may be interesting to learn about IoT in Supply chain as well. I would suggest you to attend a block chain and IoT conference. All the best.
